Student AirRace 2025 – Official Announcement
We are thrilled to officially announce:
Student AirRace 2025 will take place from October 13–19, 2025 – in Munich, Germany.
Student AirRace is Europe’s first international drone racing competition created by and for students. Over the course of one exciting week, university teams from across Europe will come together in Munich to race, innovate, and connect through a shared passion for aerospace, robotics, and engineering.

Build or Join a Racing Team
At the heart of the Student AirRace is the challenge to design, build, and fly your own drone. Whether you are a team of experienced builders or students starting out with a bold idea, this is your chance to test your skills and push the boundaries of student-led aerospace innovation.
Teams will compete in multiple categories that reward speed, technical design, innovation, and teamwork.
We welcome:
• Student teams from all European universities
• Groups from engineering, robotics, or interdisciplinary backgrounds
• Both EUROAVIA chapters and independent university teams

Join the Organizing Team (based in Munich)
The event is being organised by a student-led team in Munich – and we are still looking for support.
If you are based in or around Munich and want to help shape Europe’s most exciting student aerospace event, we invite you to join the organizing team. Key areas include:
• Event logistics and planning
• Technical inspection and rule development
• Infrastructure and race system setup
• Sponsorship acquisition and partnership outreach
• Media, communications, and content production
Please note: Organizing team roles require local availability, especially as the event approaches.
